<br />MINUTES <br />City of San Leandro City Council Mecting---Scptcmbcr 16, 2002 <br /> <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />City Manager Jermanis addressed the Council regarding the ECHO Housing report, <br />as mentioned at the September 3, 2002 City Council meeting. After some <br />discussion it was detennined the Human Relations Committee should review the <br />report. <br /> <br />Mayor Young requested that reports from surrounding cities be included in the <br />discussion and said a representative from the Rental Housing group should be <br />included in the process. <br /> <br />7. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered for approval by the <br />City Council with one single action. The City Council may remove items from the Consent <br />Calendar for purposes of discussion. Resolution No. 2002-128, Resolution authorizing the filing of an application for Federal <br />Surface Transp011ation Funds through the Metropolitan Transportation Commission's <br />(MTC) Transportation for Livable Communities (TLC) Program for the West <br />EstudillolHistorie Downtown Improvement Project and committing the necessary local <br />match for the project and assuring that the City of San Leandro will complete the project, <br />Project No. 961-86-045 (provides for the commitment of $700,000 in local matching <br />funds and the assurance that the City wi II eomp Jete the West Estudi 110 /Historie <br />Downtown Improvement Project).
