Mike Rawlis, 964 Hutchings Drive, addressed the City Council regarding <br />transportation needs for the disabled in the community and commented on the need <br />for further attention to sidewalk repairs. <br /> <br />E. Gary Hansen, Ben A. Begier Company, 15353 Edgemoor, addressed the City <br />Council in opposition to the auto mall development on Marina Blvd., indicating <br />that this issue should not be in front of the Agency at all. <br /> <br />F. Bob Battinich, addressed the City Council stating that he does not agree with <br />eminent domain being used for redevelopment. <br /> <br />G. Lawrence Kumabe, 467 Marina Boulevard, addressed the City Council and <br />thanked the Redevelopment Agency for acting to postpone action on the Batarse <br />Disposition and Development Agreement before the Agency this evening. He <br />further indicated that he felt he was not given enough notice about the hearing. <br /> <br />H. Dan Gatto, F.B. Dailey Motor Company, 800 Davis Street, addressed the City <br />Council regarding his agency's want and need to be on Marina Blvd., too. He <br />further indicated his desire to sell new cars at 936 Marina Blvd. <br /> <br />1. Wayne Martinelli, 635 Marina Boulevard, addressed the City Council in <br />opposition to the eminent domain proceedings on Marina Blvd. He indicated he <br />would like the opportunity to develop the front portion of this property, as well as <br />the back portion of the lot. <br /> <br />J. John Day, 1642 Daniels Drive, addressed the City Council in opposition to <br />eminent domain proceedings, indicating that there is no "fair market value" process <br />once eminent domain has been started. He feels that to take property from <br />individuals and sell it to Mr. Batarse is wrong. <br /> <br />K. Tom Spinardi, addressed the City Council regarding the upconung <br />Redevelopment Advisory Committee election. He indicated his desire to be <br />elected to the RAC and stated he would like to see that group give input on the <br />auto mall redevelopment project before the Agency takes action on the Batarse <br />DDA. <br /> <br />L. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the City Council about the <br />Redevelopment Agency action that was postponed. He requested a copy of every <br />JP A that the City has, and stated that there are six points to every public hearing <br />process. He added that the newspaper is not reporting what they should. He <br />stated his support of stand-alone elections, term limits and taxpayer's vouchers. <br /> <br />M. Vera Ayers, addressed the City Council stating her opposition to eminent domain <br />proceedings. <br />
