<br />Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council and the <br />San Leandro Geologic Hazard Abatement District <br />Joint Meeting - March 19,2001 <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-49, Resolution Amending Title 6, Chapter 4 of the San <br />Leandro Administrative Code Relating to Fees and Charges for Services <br />Provided by City Departments and Increasing the Amounts of Certain Said <br />Fees (provides for annual adjustments in user fees and charges for services <br />provided by City departments, effective July 1, 2001). Approved as amended, <br />removing the proposed increases in parking space rental fees for the <br />Estudillo Garage on page 34 of Exhibit A. (1051/2318) <br /> <br />M/S/C Galvan and Santos. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />B. Matter of Proposal for a Rent Review Board (provides for the establishment of a <br />Rent Review Board and the implementation of a Rent Review Program). <br /> <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Hanson <br />Horn, Development Services Director, gave a presentation regarding the proposed <br />Rent Review Ordinance and proposed Rent Review Board. <br /> <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br /> <br />Debra Newsom, 127 Haas Avenue, addressed the City Council in support of the <br />Rent Review Ordinance and Board. <br /> <br />Candice Knight, 720 Dutton Avenue, addressed the City Council in support of <br />the Rent Review Ordinance and Board. <br /> <br />Susan Rinderle, 143 Haas Avenue, addressed the City Council in support of the <br />Rent Review Ordinance and Board. <br /> <br />Mark Fanucchi, 474 Dolores #211, addressed the City Council in support of the <br />Rent Review Ordinance and Board. <br /> <br />Rebecca Powell, 133 Haas Avenue, addressed the City Council in support of the <br />Rent Review Ordinance and Board. <br /> <br />Raette Reihs, 14744 Washington Avenue, addressed the City Council in support <br />of the Rent Review Ordinance and Board. <br /> <br />Ron Upton, 15370 Tropic Court, addressed the City Council in support of the <br />Rent Review Ordinance and Board. <br /> <br />James Regier, 1915 E. 14th Street, addressed the City Council and clarified that <br />this does not apply to Commercial or Industrial properties. <br />
