<br />Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council Meeting <br />July 2, 2001 <br /> <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />The following Resolution, Minute Order, and Ordinance were then introduced: <br /> <br />ReSQlution No. 2001-91, Resolution Adopting a Negative Declaration of <br />Environmental Impact Related to the Revised Zoning Code Dated July 2, <br />2001. (1428/1099) <br /> <br />M/S/C Loeffler and Grant. Ayes: 6; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />Minute Order No. 2001-61, Matter of San Leandro Zoning Code <br />Amendments. (1428/1099/1024) <br /> <br />The City Council directed staff to include language in the Ordinance: (1) <br />reflecting the recommendations in Attachments H and I of the staff <br />report; and (2) change language to reflect that a 1,00o-foot radius around <br />small restaurants is subject to litter control. <br /> <br />No Vote <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 2001-01~, An Ordinance Repealing the Existing San Leandro <br />Zoning Code Adopted December 27, 1995, and Adopting the Proposed San <br />Leandro Zoning Code, Dated July 2,2001. (1428/1099/1024) <br />-- Passed to Print <br /> <br />M/S/C Loeffler and Santos. Ayes: 6; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />The City Council recessed from 9:20 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />4. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person, for a total time period of one <br />hour. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and <br />submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official <br />record of names and addresses obtained. The public is invited to make any comments <br />related to Agenda items, or other items of public interest, at this time. <br /> <br />A. Justin Agrella, 1231 - 148lh Avenue, addressed the City Council disappointed <br />that fireworks are not allowed in San Leandro and that there is no display of <br />fireworks planned for the Fourth of July. <br /> <br />B. Greg Romani, 1338 136th Avenue, addressed the City Council in support of a <br />shopping center at the Palma Plaza site. <br /> <br />c. Kathy Banks, 964 Hutchings Drive, addressed the City Council with concerns <br />regarding the Bat Theatre indicating she feels that they are being railroaded out of <br />business. She also spoke in opposition to the proposed view preservation district <br />in Bay-O- Vista. <br />
