When you address the City <br />Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the order <br />of speakers may be determined and an oflicial record of names and addresses obtained. <br />The public is invited to make comments on Consent Calendar items, or other items of <br />public interest not listed on the Agenda, at this time. <br /> <br />A. Mike Kessler, 184 Santa Teresa, addressed the City Council and requested the <br />City Council's support for his resolution against racism. He statcd he would like <br />businesses and residents to support the resolution by posting his "No Room for <br />Racism" signs on their property. <br /> <br />B. Susan Kleebauer, 825 Collier Drive, addressed the City Council in support of Mr. <br />Kessler's idea of placing his "No Room flX Racism" signs on City propcrty. She <br />added they were also displayed in classrooms at San Leandro High School f()r <br />Baek-to-School Night. Shc encouraged the City Council to place these placards in <br />City buildings and said the San Leandro Chamber ofConllnerce will pass theln out <br />to local businesses. <br /> <br />C. Ka(hy Banks, 964 Hutchings Drive, addressed the City Council rcgarding thc <br />traffic signal that was taken out at Hays and Joaquin. <br /> <br />D. Mike Rawlis, 964 Hutchings Drive, addresscd the City Council regarding scvcral <br />items, including providing a categOlY on the Speaker Cards for "New Business <br />Items." He indicated he wanted to know what kind of homcs are bcing planncd fix <br />Davis Street added he doesn't want to see any more car dealerships around the <br />BART Station area. <br /> <br />D. Pamela Richards, 335 Peralta Avenlle, addressed the City Council rcgarding a <br />"Welcome Back Support Rally" fix John Muir Middle School teachcr Jack Nclson <br />and his nephew, San Leandro High School Sophomore, Andrew Nelson. She <br />indicatcd that Jack and Andrew would be running from the State Capitol to John <br />
