<br />Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council and <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting Novcmber 19,2001 <br /> <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laveme Drive, addressed the Agency/City Council <br />regarding the need to have the Redevelopment Agency meet separately from the <br />City Council He continued by expressing his concerns with how redevelopment is <br />handled in San Leandro and indicated this ordinance does not need to be an <br />urgency ordinance <br /> <br />Therc being no rurther comments from the public, and without opposition, the <br />Public Hearing was closed <br /> <br />The following Ordinance was then introduced <br /> <br />Ontin:1ncc No. 2001-027, An Urgency Ordinance or the City Councilor the <br />City of San Leandro Approving and Adopting a Sixth Amendment to the <br />Alamcda County~(,ity of San Leandro Redevelopmcnt Plan to Remove <br />Territory From the Project Area and Declaring This Ordinance to be an <br />Urgency Measure, to Take EfTect Immediately, As It Relates to the <br />Preservation of Public Peace, Health and Safety (2888) <br />-- Passed lo Print and Adoptcd <br /> <br />M/S/C Grant and Badger. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per person When you address the City <br />Council, you should fill out a spe:1ker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the <br />order of speakers may be determined and an otlicial record of names and addresses <br />obtained The public is invited to make comments on Consent Calendar items, or <br />other items or public interest not listed on the Agenda, at this time <br /> <br />A Victor Siutou, Colonial Gardens BOA, 1502 - 1381h Avenue, addressed the <br />City Council regarding Palma Plaza and questioned what will be done with the <br />blighted area I Ie thanked individuals who were instrumental in deterring Davis <br />Street Community Center f1-om purchasing the property <br /> <br />B. .John Manuel, NAACSL, 13122 Neptune Drive, addressed the City Council and <br />submitted a petition from the Neptune Drive area residents regarding airpol1 noise. <br />He indicated he does not feel the City Council is giving them the attention that <br />they deserve, <br /> <br />C James Forsbcl"g, 1796 Caq)cntier Stn'd, addressed the City Council regarding <br />impacts to his residence frull1 helicopter noise coming t"i-Olll Oakland Airport <br />
