<br />Appropriation for Doolittle Entryway <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />April 16, 2007 <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br /> <br />Phase 1 <br />. The estimated cost of construction for Phase 1 is $2.5 million (includes contingencies and <br />construction support) and will be jointly funded by the City of San Leandro (42%), the City <br />of Oakland (42%), and the Port of Oakland (16%) <br />. The City of San Leandro's share is funded entirely by the Redevelopment Agency with <br />proceeds from the 2004 Tax Allocation Bonds issued for the Project Area <br />. Public Works Services has estimated that this project will increase San Leandro's annual <br />maintenance costs by $25,000 <br />. By agreement, maintenance of the improvements in Oakland will be maintained by the City <br />of Oakland <br /> <br />Phase 2 <br />. Phase 2 construction is estimated to cost $2.2 million (including contingencies and <br />construction support) and will be funded by the City of San Leandro Redevelopment Agency <br />. The Port of Oakland will contribute approximately $197,262 for landscaping, irrigation and <br />fencing along the Metropolitan Golf Course <br />. Public Works Services has estimated that this project will increase San Leandro's annual <br />maintenance costs by $25,000 <br /> <br />Budl!et Authority <br /> <br />. The project is partially funded with budget authorized in Capital Improvement Program <br />Account No. 230-43-155 and Redevelopment Agency Account No. 964-83-060.
