CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered for approval <br />by the City Council with one single action. The City Council may remove items from <br />the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. Items listed on the Consent <br />Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. <br /> <br />Council Member LoeIDer requested that page 9 of the April 17 Minutes be reflected to <br />include the statement he had requested that overtime costs, per department, should be <br />disclosed and included in the budget document. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant requested and received clarification on the funding of Item C. <br /> <br />The Consent Calendar was then approved as follows: <br /> <br />M/S/C Galvan and Lothrop. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />A. Minutes of the Meeting of April 3, 20.0.0.. Approved as submitted. <br /> <br />B. Minutes of the Meeting of April 17, 20.0.0.. Approved as amended. <br /> <br />C. Resolution No. 2000-59, Resolution of Award of Contract to Bamer Construction <br />Company for a City-Wide Entry Sign at Grand Avenue/Joaquin Avenue <br />Intersection, Project No. 99-210-38-197 (recommends award to the second lowest <br />bidder for bid amount of $53,769.00. Bids opened April 11, 20.0.0..). Funding: <br />Approved in 1998-99 Capital Improvement Projects Budget. (2883) <br /> <br />D. Resolution No. 2000-60, Resolution Authorizing Filing of a Claim with the <br />Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) for Allocation of Transportation <br />Development Act (TDA) Article 3 Funds for Fiscal Year 20.0.0.-20.0.1 and to <br />Appropriate $57,413 of Development Fees for Street Improvements (DFSI) Funds <br />(authorizes request for applying for a TDA Grant and to Appropriate $57,413 of <br />DFSI Funds for bicycle lanes on Broadmoor Boulevard and Teagarden Street and <br />handicap pedestrian ramps at various locations throughout the City to be <br />reimbursed by the TDA Grant). (1925) <br /> <br />E. Resolution No. 2000-61, Resolution Requesting the Metropolitan Transportation <br />Commission (MTC) and Alameda County Rescind $25,0.0.0. from the BARTIUP <br />Bikepath Project and $72,0.35 from the Bancroft Bikelane Project and Reallocate <br />the Unexpended Transportation Development Act (IDA) Funds ($97,0.35) to <br />Fund the Installation of the Estudillo Avenue and Williams Street Bikelane <br />Projects or Other Bicycle Facilities Within the City (provides for previously <br />requested IDA Funds due to expire to be reallocated for bike lanes or other <br />bicycle or handicap pedestrian ramp projects within the City).
