CITY MANAGER'S REPORT AND COMMENTS <br /> <br />The City Manager explained the process by which ACI is allowed to raise the fees, in <br />accordance with their franchise with the City; indicated there will be an increase in fees <br />starting July 1, 2000; and explained that said fees can be raised annually not greater <br />than 75% of the CPI. He further indicated the franchise with ACI will result in better <br />sefVlces. <br /> <br />8. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered for approval <br />by the City Council with one single action. The City Council may remove items from <br />the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. Items listed on the Consent <br />Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant indicated page 9 of the June 5, 2000, Minutes should reflect <br />that her comments were regarding "East Bay Housing" and not "East Bay Municipal <br />Utility District." <br /> <br />The Consent Calendar was approved as follows: <br /> <br />M/S/C Galvan and Nardine. Resolution No. 2000-89, Resolution Declaring Intention to Reimburse <br />Expenditures from the Proceeds of Obligations to Be Issued by the City of San <br />Leandro and Directing Certain Actions (declares the City's intention to issue up to <br />$10 million of sewer revenue bonds and to reimburse project expenditures made <br />prior to the Bond's issue date). Resolution No. 2000-90, Resolution Approving Amendment to Agreement with <br />George Hills Company (provides for extension of general liability administration <br />services contract through June 30,2001). Cost: $30,000 (approximately) (2019) <br /> <br />D. Resolution No. 2000-91, Resolution Approving Final Subdivision Map, <br />Subdivision Improvement Agreement (Public Improvements), and Acceptance of <br />Dedication of Public Utility Easements and Public Right of Way for Tract 7183; <br />Vacant Parcel Located at 1696 San Leandro Boulevard; Developer: Westco <br />Community Builders, Inc.
