IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008- <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />AT&T, A DELAWARE LIMITED LIABILITY CORPORATION, <br />FOR CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERGROUND STREET LIGHT CONDUITS ON <br />EAST 14TH STREET, PROJECT NO. 210-38-I 72 <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has created an Underground Utility District on East 14'~ Street <br />from the southern City limits to 150t~ Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the City owns and operates street lights within the Underground Utility District that <br />require new underground connections to electrical power; and <br />WHEREAS, AT&T, a Delaware Limited Liability Corporation, has a project to place conduits for <br />utilities underground within the Underground Utility District and has offered to install conduits for power <br />to the City's street lights. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with AT&T for <br />construction of underground street light conduits on East 14t~' Street from the southern City limits to I SOt'' <br />Avenue. <br />That a fully executed agreement will be placed on file with the City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Council Member a~1d passed and adopted this I7r~' <br />day of March 2008, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />Attest: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />K~AA-C\COUNCIL~2008\3 MAR 17\AGREEMENT WITH AT AND T RESO.doc <br />
