The hydrology study shall be submitted to the City Engineer for <br />review and approval. <br />C. Prior to issuance of the grading permit, an erosion control plan shall be developed <br />for the site in order to minimize any erosion that may occur during grading. <br />Protection measures may include implementing silt fencing, hay bales and/or sand <br />bags. The erosion control plan shall be submitted to the City Engineer for review <br />and approval. <br />D. In accordance with the requirements of the National Pollutant Discharge <br />Elimination System (NPDES) permit, the applicant shall file a Notice of Intent <br />(NOIJ with the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) advising that <br />the project is under consideration for construction. The applicant shall submit <br />proof of approval from the RWQCB to the City Engineer prior to issuance of <br />grading permits. To control storm water pollution, the applicant shall comply with <br />the regulations and provisions contained in the City's Grading Ordinance, the <br />City's Storm Water Pollution Prevention Permit, and the NPDES, to the <br />satisfaction of the City Engineer. <br />E. Prior to issuance of grading permit approval, hydrologic and hydraulic <br />calculations shall be reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. Storm water <br />runoff from the project site shall be designed to be collected in an underground <br />system and conveyed to an appropriate storm drain system. <br />F. In the event that archaeological resources, prehistoric or historic artifacts are <br />discovered during any construction or excavation, the following procedures shall <br />be followed: Construction and/or excavation activities shall cease immediately <br />and the Development Services Department shall be notified. A qualified <br />archaeologist shall be consulted to determine whether any such materials are <br />significant prior to resuming ground-breaking construction activities. <br />Standardized procedures for evaluating accidental finds and discovery of human <br />remains shall be followed as prescribed in Sections 15064.5 and 15126.4 of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act. <br />G. To the extent that the City or any other governmental agency is responsible for <br />supervising or implementing any of the mitigation measures specified in the <br />Mitigation Monitoring Plan, the City or the governmental agency shall charge the <br />applicant for actual costs incurred. As regards the City, the charge for actual costs <br />may be based upon the standard fee schedule for such purposes. Should the City <br />or other governmental agency be unable to sufficiently staff such responsibilities <br />it may, at its discretion, retain outside services which shall be paid for by the <br />developer based upon invoices received. <br />Agreement to Conditions July 16, 2007 <br />PLN2007-00027 ~,,~ Lf ~- Page 5 of 13 <br />
