H. Sidewalks and parking lots shall be swept regularly to minimize the accumulation <br />of litter and debris. Debris resulting from pressure washing shall be trapped and <br />collected to prevent entry into the storm drain system. Wash water containing any <br />soap, cleaning agent or degreaser shall not be discharged to the storm drain and <br />shall be collected and discharged to the sanitary sewer or collected and treated <br />prior to being lawfully disposed. <br />I. During construction the following high standards for sanitation are required: <br />Garbage cans, construction dumpsters, and debris piles shall be removed on a <br />minimum weekly basis. All food related trash items such as wrappers, cans, bottles, <br />and food scraps shall be disposed of in closed containers only and shall be regularly <br />removed from the site. Inspections, conducted as part of the regular construction <br />compliance, will be conducted to ensure compliance of the Applicant and <br />contractors with this requirement. <br />IV. FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS <br />A. If the building does not have a sprinkler system, fire walls or fire barriers, the <br />applicant and/or property owner shall obtain the required building permit to <br />comply with California Building Code Section 903.2.1.2., to limit the fire area of <br />the restaurant to 5,000 square feet or less. Prior to occupancy, said requirement <br />shall be implemented to the satisfaction of the Chief Building Official and the <br />Fire Marshall. <br />B. Plans and specifications submitted for building permits shall have required exiting <br />that complies with the applicable Building and Fire Codes for an A-2 occupancy. <br />Prior to occupancy, said required exiting shall be implemented to the satisfaction <br />of the Chief Building Official and the Fire Marshall. <br />C. If a Type-I hood is required for cooking, the plans and specifications submitted <br />for building permits shall show the hood being equipped with a UL 300 fire <br />extinguishing system. Prior to occupancy, said Type-I hood with a UL 300 fire <br />extinguishing system shall be implemented to the satisfaction of the Chief <br />Building Official and the Fire Marshall. <br />D. Prior to issuance of Certificate of Occupancy, the project shall comply with the <br />applicable Building and Fire Codes. Building constriction plans and <br />specifications shall be submitted and approved prior to start of any work. <br />V. CONSTRUCTION PROVISIONS <br />A. Construction activity shall not commence prior to 7:00 a.m. and shall cease by <br />7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and construction activity shall not commence <br />prior to 8:00 a.m. and shall cease by 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and Saturday. No such <br />construction is permitted on Federal holidays. As provided in this City of San <br />Leandro's Noise Ordinance (ORDINANCE NO. 2003 - 005), "construction" <br />shall mean any site preparation, assembly, erection, substantial repair, alteration, <br />Agreement to Conditions January 24, 2008 <br />PLN2007-00079 Page 5 of 7 <br />
