The Board then proceeded to review the presented classification specifications in specific <br />groups. <br />The first group reviewed comprised the Deputy City Clerk and the Human Resources <br />Technician classification specifications under the Confidential employee category. <br />Following a review by Secretary Caire, a brief discussion followed by the Board. <br />It was MS (Jardin/1Vlyers) to approve the revisions to the classification specifications <br />under the Confidential employee category listed above. The Motion carried 4 Ayes. <br />The second group reviewed was the classification specifications under the Executive staff <br />category which included the following: Assistant City Manager, Community <br />Development Director, Engineering and Transportation Director, Finance Director, <br />Human Resources Director, Library Director, Police Chief, Public Works Services <br />Director and Recreation and Human Services Director. It was noted by Member Myers <br />that the revised date of the classification specifications was incorrect and should be <br />changed to 1/24/08 on the Police Chief, Public Works Services Director, Hurnan <br />Resources Director and the Assistant City Manager classification specifications. <br />Secretary Caire presented a substitute classification specification for the Engineering and <br />Transportation Director. The revisions were noted by the Board. <br />After a discussion regarding changes made in the classification specifications, it was MS <br />(Jardin/Brannan) to approve the revised classification specifications with noted <br />corrections under the Executive staff category listed above. The Motion carried 4 Ayes. <br />The third group reviewed was the classification specifications under the Non-Represented <br />Part-time employee category which included the following: Community Crossing Guard, <br />Office Assistant UIUIIUIV/V, Recreation Leader Aide and Recreation Leader UII. <br />After a discussion regarding changes made in the classification specifications, it was MS <br />(Brannan/Jardin) to approve the revised classification specifications under the Non- <br />Represented Part-time employee category listed above. The Motion carried 4 Ayes. <br />The fourth group reviewed was comprised of the classification specifications under the <br />SLCEA represented employee category which included the following: Account Clerk, <br />Accountant I, Administrative Assistant I, Administrative Assistant II, Building Inspector, <br />Circulation Supervisor and Community Services Officer. Member Brannan pointed out a <br />spelling error on page 1 of the classification specification of Accountant I and it was <br />corrected. <br />After a discussion regarding changes made in the classification specifications, it was MS <br />(Myers/Brannan) to approve the revised classification specifications, with noted <br />
