The responding organizations included: <br />1) Y&H Soda Foundation <br />2) Braddock Foundation <br />3) The San Francisco Foundation <br />4) Eden Health Care Township <br />5) City of San Leandro <br />6) Alameda Department of Social Services <br />Seven key questions were asked. The summary of responses can be found below. <br />Please comment on how well DSFRC met (or is meeting) the obligations required of <br />them as a recipient of your organization's funds. In particular, please comment on: <br />DSFRC's use of the funds, as intended by your organization. <br />All funding organizations that responded to this question report that monies are <br />being used as intended. One organization has history that shows responsible use <br />of funds but, at the time of the survey, DSFRC's report on their current grant was <br />not yet due: <br />DSFRC's reporting, as required by your organization. <br />All relevant responses show that reporting is done as requested and on time. <br />DSFRC's responsiveness to any inquiry made by your organization. <br />All but one funding organization reported good, excellent, and timely <br />responsiveness. The one exception to this was a comment that staff did not <br />respond in a timely way to inquiries. <br />How would you describe DSFRC's mission and the services they offer? <br />Most responses gave enough detail to show that the funding organizations are <br />accurately aware of DSFRC's mission. <br />Please share your opinion about the quality of services DSFRC provides the <br />community (please include a description of how you came to have this opinion). <br />These funding organizations uniformly praise DSFRC for the quality and <br />comprehensiveness of their services. One comment in particular goes into detail <br />about what works best with DSFRC's approach (serving multiple needs of <br />families in one location, using an asset based approach which avoids treating <br />families in need as problems to be salved, a holistic approach). <br />Please share your opinion about the responsiveness and capabilities of DSFRC's <br />management and staff (please include a description of how you came to have this <br />opinion). <br />DSFRC's management is praised by all respondents who answered this question - <br />and top leadership is complemented, especially Rose Padilla-Johnson.
