Reformation of RAC 4 October 20, 2008 Leandro portion of the Joint Alameda County/City of San Leandro Redevelopment Project Area • City Council Resolution No. 2004-026, adopted February 17, 2008, approving continuation of a Redevelopment Advisory Committee for the City of San Leandro portion of the Joint Alameda County/City of San Leandro Redevelopment Project Area • City Council Resolution No. 2005-002, adopted January 3, 2005, approving continuation of a Redevelopment Advisory Committee for the West San Leandro/ MacArthur Boulevard Redevelopment Project Area City Council Committee Review and Action The discontinuation of the current RACs and the reformation of a new RAC was discussed by the City Council Rules and Communications Committee at its May, June and September 2008 meetings. The Committee recommended discontinuation of the Joint RAC and WSL RAC, and the formation of a new RAC to provide input to all of the Project Areas. The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro to create a 10 member RAC to provide input to all of the Project areas (West San Leandro/MacArthur Boulevard, Alameda County-City of San Leandro, and Plaza). 2. The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro to discontinue the current WSL RAC and to repeal the original Resolutions that established them. 3. The City of San Leandro to dissolve the current Joint RAC and to repeal the original Resolutions that established them.
