Consultant Deliverables: <br />• Monthly progress letters. <br />• Meeting agenda before each progress meeting. <br />• Meeting presentation handouts at the progress meeting. <br />• Meeting minutes after each progress meeting. <br />• Decision log. <br />Task 7: Predesign Services <br />Consultant shall perform predesign of the project to about the 10 percent completion level and summarize <br />key findings and conclusions of technical issues in a Predesign Report. <br />Task 1.1 -Quality Control Review. Consultant shall perform in-house peer review of predesign <br />deliverables before submitting them to the City. The key deliverables that will be peer reviewed by the <br />Consultant's Quality Management Team include draft technical memorandums (TM), draft geotechnical <br />report, preliminary site plan, and the preliminary construction cost estimate. <br />Information and/or Services Provided by City: <br />• None. <br />Consultant Deliverables: <br />• Letter acknowledging completion of quality control review of deliverables outlined in this task by <br />Consultant's Quality Management Team. <br />Task 1.2 - Geotechnical Study. Fugro West, Inc. (Fugro), a subconsultant to Carollo, shall perform a <br />geotechnical study of the WPCP site that encompasses the anticipated locations of the following possible <br />new structures: Administration Control Building, headworks, influent pump station, primary clarifier, fixed- <br />film reactor, and aeration tank. Fugro's services shall include a field investigation and information gathering <br />of the project site, perform six (6) borings and/or cone penetration tests at various locations of the possible <br />new structures, perform associated field and laboratory tests, soils tests, and preparation of a geotechnical <br />report in support of the proposed design improvements. <br />In addition, Fugro shall also perform environmental sampling of the flow equalization pond area by <br />collecting 12 discrete grab sediment samples from the bank of the berms for chemical analyses. Chemical <br />testing for total lead will be conducted by aState-certified laboratory and will include analyses of the <br />collected samples to classify the soils for disposal as a Class I, II, or III, The key findings and <br />recommendations from the environmental sampling work will also be included in the geotechnical report. <br />Information and/or Services Provided by City: <br />Available past geotechnical reports performed for the WPCP. <br />Consulting Services Agreement between Project No. 08-593-52-239 <br />City of San Leandro and Carollo Engineers, Inc.
