• Table summarizing recommended design flow and loads. • Draft TM (5 hard copies). Task 1.7 - Headworks and Influent Pump Station Evaluation. Consultant shall prepare a TM to evaluate headworks and influent pump station improvements. Alternatives to be evaluated include: • Alternative 1 - Provide a new headworks with three Auger Monster screening systems and two vortex grit tanks and rehabilitate the existing influent pump station. • Alternative 2 - Provide a new headworks with three screens (climber or fine screens) and one vortex grit tank and rehabilitate the existing influent pump station. • Alternative 3 - Provide a new headworks with three screens (climber or fine screens), a new influent pump station, and a vortex grit tank. The grit tank will be located before or after the influent pump station. For each alternative, screenings and grit conveyance, screenings washing/compacting, grit washing/cycloning, and grease/scum handling will also be evaluated. The alternatives will be evaluated and compared based on site layout requirements, process performance and reliability, operation and maintenance considerations, materials of construction, constructability, odor impacts, and cost. Information and/or Services Provided by City: • Available record drawings and specifications of past WPCP designs. • Input on operation and maintenance requirements of existing headworks and influent pump station. • Input on configuration of predesign alternatives. Consultant Deliverables: • Figures showing site layout options. • Summary table of alternatives comparison. • Summary table of cost of alternatives. • Draft TM (5 hard copies). Task 1.8 -Primary Sedimentation Basin Evaluation. Consultant shall prepare a TM to evaluate primary sedimentation basin (PSB) improvements.
