Summary Report of Health & Safety Code Findings -Ninth Grade Campus <br />Redevelopment Purpose <br />The use of tax increment funds for the Project serves the basic redevelopment purpose of <br />provision of new structures and other improvements as may be appropriate or necessary in the <br />interest of the general welfare. A fundamental purpose of redevelopment is the provision of an <br />environment that promotes the social, economic and psychological growth and well-being of all <br />citizens. Anew gymnasium and related public improvements that will serve not only students <br />but the general community fulfills social and psychological needs and promotes economic <br />opportunities in the surrounding area.
