(1079) <br />The City Council authorized the creation of the new classification of <br />Accountant II and retitling the existing classification of Accountant to <br />Accountant L <br />M/S/C Galvan and Grant. Ayes: 6; Noes: 0; Absent: L~othrop <br />-- Resolution No. 99-59, Resolution Amending Section 1.5 of the Pay Plan <br />(amends the Pay Plan to add the new classification and salary range for <br />Accountant II and to retitle the existing classification of Accountant to <br />Accountant I). NEW BUSINESS <br />Items removed from the Consent Calendar: <br />S.A Minutes of the Meeting of April 19, 1999. <br />Mayor Young indicated staff has requested, and she agrees, that the Minutes of the <br />April 19, 1999, City Council Meeting be continued to the next City Council meeting <br />so that some minor corrections may be made before re-submitting the Minutes for <br />approval. <br />The following Motion was then introduced: <br />-- Minute Order No. 99-24, Minutes of the Meeting of Apri119, 1999. <br />The City Council continued the matter of the Minutes of the April 19,1999, <br />City Council Meeting to the May 17, 1999, City Council Meeting. <br />M/C Young.
