(1983) The City Council, by consensus, referred the matter of researching the issues with respect to access to the small sandbar in the Marina to the City Attorney for review and a report. No Vote 4. Council Member Nazdine asked if staff could provide the City Council with a report on the cost of fixing the pothole in the School District pazking lot at Burrell Field/Pacific High School Tennis Courts. Council Member Nardine, with respect to comments made by the public regazding the lack of public notice of the Tree Ordinance public meetings, indicated there have been several newspaper articles and letters of notice to homeowners' associations. She also indicated the City Council discussed the issue at length during a City Council Work Session. She concluded by noting the Tree Ordinance is a work in progress, and public meetings are being held so that information can be gathered. 5. Vice Mayor Galvan commented on the highly successful Cherry Festival and said the Ciry Council should have a Work Session regazding what did and did not go well. With respect to the misinformation in the community surrounding the "group home" issue, Vice Mayor Galvan commented that, when the community needs to get the facts, they should come to the City Council or to staff. 6. Council Member Loeffler inquired what the zoning requirements are for bazs and liquor stores in the community. He suggested the City Council support having the Planning Commission review the zoning requirements, the non- conforminguse provisions, and how to get the most authority to regulate reuse of bars and liquor stores.
