Gyarmathy, 2327 West Ave. 133, addressed the City Council in support of Parcel Map 7394. Yvette Rice, 13160 Neptune Dr., addressed the City Council in support of Parcel Map 7394. Richard Wirt, 297 Lorraine Blvd., addressed the City Council in support of Parcel Map 7394. William Lubker, 13214 Doolittle Dr., addressed the City Council in support of Parce] Map 7394. The Mayor indicated, in response to comments made by Mr. Perez, that all Davis West residents receive information on flight changes at Oakland Airport. 5. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT AND COMMENTS There was no report. 6. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS AND COMMENTS A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies 1. Mayor Young reported, on behalf of Waste Management, that she attended the opening of an additional recycling/reuse facility at Waste Management (a transfer area) which will be helpful not only to the City, but to the residents, as there will not be as much garbage trucked to the landfill. She commented that an additional facility was opened today, along with the reuse people, which is similar to the concept that Berkeley has with "Urban Ore." She indicated it is an exciting non- profit, private-public partnership. She added further that Waste Management Authority gave a grant to the reuse people to begin that process, which they could not have afforded to do on their own. B. Reports on City Council Committees There was no report. C. City Council Comments 1. Council Member Glaze commented that on September 30, 1999, the City Council had the pleasure of rededicating the Marina Golf Course. He commented further on the 1St Annual Mayor's Cup Golf Tournament, thanking the Mayor for such a wonderful event. He concluded by congratulating Council Member Grant for making the first "hole in one" at the Marina Golf Course.
