The City Council may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. Council Member Lothrop clarified that Item D, the Contractual Services Agreement relating to the preparation of the General Plan Elements Beyond Land Use and Circulation Elements, would include an Air Quality Element. Item 6.E was removed from the Consent Calendar to New Business. The remaining items on the Consent Calendar were approved as follows: M/S/C Loeffler and Lothrop. Resolution No. 99-30, Resolution of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro Approving Contractual Services Agreement with Terrence Bottomley, Urban Design/Urban Planning, for Phase II Development of the Central San Leandro/BART Station Revitalization Strategy (provides for Phase II strategy for the revitalization of the central San LeandroBART area). Cost: $55,000 ($20,000 grant from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, $15,000 contribution from BART and $20,000 from the Plaza II Redevelopment Project Area budget.) C. Resolution No. 99-164, Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement with Terrence Bottomley, Urban Design/LTrban Planning, for Development of the MacArthur Boulevard Streetscape Master Plan (provides for conceptual Streetscape design for MacArthur Boulevard from the Oakland border to Grand Avenue).
