Matter of Five-Year Implementation Plan for the Plaza 1 and Plaza 2 <br />Redevelopment Project Areas and the Joint County of Alameda/City of San <br />Leandro Redevelopment Project Area (outlines programs and projects the <br />Redevelopment Agency envisions for the Project Areas over the next five years, <br />Fiscal Yeazs 1999-2004). <br />-- Resolution of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Approving aFive-Yeaz <br />Implementation Plan for the Plaza 1 and Plaza 2 Redevelopment Project Areas, <br />Fiscal Years 1999-2004. <br />-- Resolution of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Approving aFive-Year <br />Implementation Plan for the Joint County of Alameda/City of San Leandro <br />Redevelopment Project Area, Fiscal Years 1999-2004. <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Debbie <br />Patter, Redevelopment Administrator, gave the staff report and Jennifer <br />Andersen, Development Specialist, provided further explanation, showing pictures <br />through a slide presentation to the Agency. Eileen Dalton, representing the <br />Alameda County Community Development Agency, gave a presentation on the <br />County's efforts relating to this Project Area. <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the Redevelopment Agency and <br />read a portion of the Minutes from 1997. <br />There being no further comments from the public, the Public Hearing was closed. <br />M/S/C Loeffler and Galvan. Ayes: 6; Noes: 0; Absent: Glaze <br />Richard Hancoa, Chair of the Citizens' Advisory Committee, County of <br />Alameda, 2066 Manchester Road, San Leandro, spoke in support of the Plan. <br />Agency Member Loeffler stated his difficulty in approving aFve-year plan based <br />upon information from 1990. He indicated the Plan should be updated as soon as <br />new information arrives. <br />Staff explained how this blends in with the General Plan and indicated the Plan <br />must be consistent with the City's General Plan. <br />
