Ordinance No. 99-034, An Ordinance Vacating a Public Right-of--Way, a Portion of Peralta Avenue from the Union Pacific Railroad/BART Right-of--Way to the Most Westerly End. Matter of Joint-Use Agreements for Two, New Youth-Oriented Recreational Facilities at John Muir Open Space Site in the San Leandro Unified School District, and Dayton Elementary School in the San Lorenzo Unified School District. -- Resolution Approving an Agreement Between the City of San Leandro and the San Leandro Unified School District for the Joint Use of john Muir Open Space Site. -- Resolution Approving an Agreement Between the City of San Leandro and the San Lorenzo Unified School District for the Joint Use of Dayton Elementary School. The City Manager gave a brief staff report and explained how the monies are to be used for what is specifically referred to as a "recreation, open-space improvement." Council Member Lothrop indicated her support and excitement about this project. She commended the Committee Members and School Board Members on the Committee, stating they did a good job on working on these agreements.
