Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council and Page - 10 - San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Meeting - March 16, 1998 C. John Sellars, 12903 Neptune Drive, addressed the Council regarding the issue of deed restrictions on Parcel Map 7186. He noted the number of units issue per lot has been thrown out of Court. D. Laverne Anderson, 1495 - 159th Avenue, addressed the Council regarding a letter from the Police Officers' Association back East, regarding support for the Police Widows' Organization. The letter noted it is a false organization, and people should throw that information away. He congratulated those Council people coming to the end of their four-year term. E. Duane Krolup, addressed the Council regarding Parcel Map 7186 and noted he thought this was approved last October and that he has invested a lot of money in the project. F. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the Council and thanked the Mayor and City Attorney for the history of violating the appearance of non-partisanship. He also thanked Vice Mayor Loeffler for his comments regarding employees' salaries. He feels the public should discuss the issue as well. G. Larry Norry, 2532 Williams Street, addressed the Council, stating they should get a current copy of the Zoning Code and read up on splitting of properties (referencing Parcel Map 7186). H. Bill Lubker, 13215 Aurora Drive, addressed the Council, stating the City should be able to get something done about the railroad crossings in the c;ty. 8. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS AND COMMENTS A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies 1. Mayor Corbett reported on recent legislation that may affect soundwall programs. She also referenced legislation that provides the potential for available local funding through the Congestion Management Agency (CMA). 2. Council discussion ensued regarding sound issues for San Leandro, and Council Member Young suggested the representative from Danville be invited to attend a Council Work Session in the future to share what has been done in Danville. 3. Council Member Glaze commented on railroad crossings, repairs, and whistle-blowing concerns. He noted he met with representatives in Washington, D.C., and they are committed to sending someone out to inspect the crossings and possibly assist with State funding. It was noted that trespassing issues, as well as abandoned rail sights, were also discussed. 4. Council Member Young commented on an upcoming I-880 Corridor Meeting to be held Tuesday, March 31, in Union City, 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
