<br />Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council and Page - 10 - <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Meeting - March 16, 1998 <br />C. John Sellars, 12903 Neptune Drive, addressed the Council regarding the <br />issue of deed restrictions on Parcel Map 7186. He noted the number of <br />units issue per lot has been thrown out of Court. <br />D. Laverne Anderson, 1495 - 159th Avenue, addressed the Council regarding <br />a letter from the Police Officers' Association back East, regarding <br />support for the Police Widows' Organization. The letter noted it is a <br />false organization, and people should throw that information away. He <br />congratulated those Council people coming to the end of their four-year <br />term. <br />E. Duane Krolup, addressed the Council regarding Parcel Map 7186 and noted <br />he thought this was approved last October and that he has invested a lot <br />of money in the project. <br />F. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the Council and thanked <br />the Mayor and City Attorney for the history of violating the appearance <br />of non-partisanship. He also thanked Vice Mayor Loeffler for his <br />comments regarding employees' salaries. He feels the public should <br />discuss the issue as well. <br />G. Larry Norry, 2532 Williams Street, addressed the Council, stating they <br />should get a current copy of the Zoning Code and read up on splitting of <br />properties (referencing Parcel Map 7186). <br />H. Bill Lubker, 13215 Aurora Drive, addressed the Council, stating the City <br />should be able to get something done about the railroad crossings in the <br />c;ty. <br />8. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS AND COMMENTS <br />A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br />1. Mayor Corbett reported on recent legislation that may affect <br />soundwall programs. She also referenced legislation that provides <br />the potential for available local funding through the Congestion <br />Management Agency (CMA). <br />2. Council discussion ensued regarding sound issues for San Leandro, and <br />Council Member Young suggested the representative from Danville be <br />invited to attend a Council Work Session in the future to share what <br />has been done in Danville. <br />3. Council Member Glaze commented on railroad crossings, repairs, and <br />whistle-blowing concerns. He noted he met with representatives in <br />Washington, D.C., and they are committed to sending someone out to <br />inspect the crossings and possibly assist with State funding. It was <br />noted that trespassing issues, as well as abandoned rail sights, were <br />also discussed. <br />4. Council Member Young commented on an upcoming I-880 Corridor Meeting <br />to be held Tuesday, March 31, in Union City, 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. <br />
