Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council, Page - 3 - <br />San Leandro Economic Development Agency, San Leandro <br />Housing Finance Corporation, San Leandro Parking Authority, <br />San Leandro Public Financing Authority, and <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting - June 15, 1998 <br />Questions were asked and answered regarding traffic circulation, noise <br />from the nearby Lunardi Meat Company, maintenance of trees, and the <br />height of the building and fence behind the proposed project. It was <br />noted that there are no provisions for the standard of maintenance of <br />the project, it would be governed by the Ordinance regarding community <br />standards. <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br />Al Rosenga, 534 Parrott Street, on Behalf of the Peralta Citizens' <br />Homeowners' Association, addressed the Council in support of the <br />proposed project. <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive addressed the Council in support of <br />the proposed project. He also noted the Council should not assume that <br />every project needs a homeowners' association. He also clarified the <br />pitch and width of the driveways, as well as that the garbage pick-up <br />will be in the front. <br />Brett Evans, 15225 Wicks Boulevard, the Developer, addressed the <br />Council, explaining the project in greater detail, and urging their <br />support for the proposal. <br />There being no further comments from the public, the Public Hearing was <br />closed. <br />MJS/C Polvorosa and Galvan. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0; Absent: Loeffler <br />The following Motion and Ordinance were then introduced: <br />- Minute Order No. 98-35, Motion Certifying Negative Declaration for <br />PD-97-10 as complete and in compliance with CEQA requirements; <br />Approving the Rezoning of A-98-4 to RM-1800 (PD) Residential, Multi- <br />Family, Planned Development Combining District; and Approving the <br />Planned Development, PD-97-10, subject to the Conditions of <br />Approval. (1099/1009) <br />The City Council certified the Negative Declaration for PD-97-10 as <br />complete and in compliance with CEQA requirements; approved the <br />Rezoning of A-98-4 to RM-1800 (PD) Residential, Multi-Family, Planned <br />Development Combining District; and approved the Planned Development, <br />PD-97-10, subject to the Conditions of Approval. <br />M/S/C Galvan and Polvorosa. Ayes: 6; Noes: 0; Absent: Loeffler <br />- Ordinance Nq. 98-07, An Ordinance Reclassifying Certain Property <br />Herein Described as to Zoning District and Amending Zoning Map (A-98- <br />4), 1762 and 1770 San Leandro Boulevard. (1099/1009/1024) <br />- Passed to Print <br />M/S/C Galvan and Polvorosa. Ayes: 6; Noes: 0; Absent: 0 <br />
