Minutes -City of San Leandro City Council and Page 15 <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting -August 3, 1998 <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br />Resolution No. 98-84, Resolution Approving Agreement with David M. Griffith <br />(provides for a contractual services agreement to conduct a performance <br />measurement cost study of City services). Cost: $70,000 (2323) <br />M/S/C Loeffler and Glaze. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />C. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken. <br />The City Attorney announced that the City Council directed that an analysis <br />be made; and, if necessary, an action be undertaken to abate a public <br />nuisance at 377 Bancroft Avenue. <br />7. OPEN FORUM <br />Open Forum is limited to 3 minutes maximum per speaker, 15 minutes total. <br />A. Freddie Wright, 377 Bancroft Avenue, Addressed the Council Representing <br />Miss Kitty's Club, and stated she does not see her business as a public nuisance. <br />She would like more information regazding the City Attorney's earlier statement <br />regazding Closed Session items. <br />The City Attorney indicated to Ms. Wright that she would have to speak with her <br />attorney regarding the matter. <br />B. Ellen Geis, 834 Cary Drive, addressed the Council, stating she received a full <br />copy of Proposition 218, and she feels there should have been a provision for <br />people to send written statements in favor of the fee increases, as well as protests <br />against them. <br />8.
