She <br />noted ferry service to San Leandro should be discussed at a future meeting of <br />the Council, prior to her giving any input to the Agency regarding San <br />Leandro's needs in this azea. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and aze considered for approval <br />by the City Council with one single action. The City Council may remove items from <br />the Consent Calendaz for purposes of discussion. Items listed on the Consent <br />Calendar aze deemed to have been read by title. <br />Items 6.C and 6.E were removed from the Consent Calendar to New Business. <br />The remaining items on the Consent Calendar were approved as follows: <br />M/S/C Galvan and Lothrop. Resolution of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Approving the Form of An <br />Owner Participation Agreement with Owners of the Site on 1034 Peralta Avenue <br />Commonly Known as the Former Cherry City Nursery Site for Remediation of <br />Hazardous Substances (provides for Agency supervision of hazardous waste clean- <br />up at former Cherry City Nursery property that is necessary for subsequent <br />purchasers to obtain Polanco Immunity). Resolution No. 98-4, Resolution of the San Leandro Economic Development <br />Agency Approving a Loan to Samuel Nassab, Richard Nassab, and Chris Savory <br />for the Development of the Property at 1056 East 14~` Street. (Provides for <br />Economic Development Agency approval of a $70,400 loan to assist with <br />construction of a commercial building on a currently vacant parcel. Provision of <br />the loan will allow for the permanent relocation of three long-time San Leandro <br />businesses, two of which were required to relocate due to construction of Carlton <br />Plaza.)
