PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person, for a total time period of one hour. <br />When you address the City Council, you should Till out a speaker card and submit it to the <br />City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and <br />addresses obtained. The public is invited to make any comments related to Agenda items, or <br />other items of public interest, at this time. <br />A. Harold Perez, 2057 Vestal Court, addressed the Council, requesting that the Council do <br />further review of the pedestrian crossing on Davis Street, indicating there is not enough <br />time for a pedestrian to get all the way across the street. He noted there needs to be an <br />island in the middle to give someone a place to go when time has run out to cross the <br />street. With regard to the new refuse service being proposed, he questioned if garbage <br />cans with wheels will be provided in order to move them more easily out to the curb. <br />B. Walter Hirt, 716 Warden Avenue, addressed the Council regazding the amount of extra <br />chazges on his water bill. He noted it is figured every two months, and he is paying over <br />$300 a yeaz. He remazked that he has spoken with someone at the Water Department, and <br />he was told certain chazges could not be put on his bill without the approval of the City <br />Council. He also questioned how he might find out what monies the City is receiving from <br />all outside sources. <br />The City Manager responded that he can come by City Hall and obtain a copy of the <br />budget, which will answer his questions regazding monies being received from outside <br />sources. He also encouraged Mr. Hirt to come by with a copy of his water bill so that staff <br />could help him understand the chazges and where they aze coming from. <br />C. Al Rosenga, 534 Parrott Street, addressed the Council regazding having received a <br />survey regazding speaker cards and timing of speakers at Council Meetings. <br />
