Hollister <br />City Manager <br />Mary Ann Perini, Budget & Compliance Manager /~~ <br />Finance Department <br />SUBJECT PROJECT/PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />MATTER OF PROPOSED AMENDED ADJUSTMENTS TO THE CITY MASTER FEES <br />AND SERVICE CHARGES SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009-10 <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends City Council adoption of a resolution approving the proposed amended <br />adjustments regarding new temporary parking fees and new boat launch fees to the City user fees <br />and service charges for Fiscal Year 2009-10 <br />BACKGROUND <br />New Temporary Parking Fees: <br />The City Council approved on June 2, 2008, the bond funding of a replacement garage for the <br />City's 215 space seismically unsound parking garage located on Estudillo and Callan Avenue. <br />The new garage will be expanded to approximately 400 parking spaces in order to meet the <br />parking needs of downtown businesses and the public. <br />During the demolition of the old garage and construction of the new garage temporary parking is <br />required. The replacement parking lots will be established at 1550 East 14th Street and 262-290 <br />Davis Street. During the May 14, 2009 Business and Housing Development Committee meeting, <br />the Committee recommended establishment of reduced parking fees for the temporary <br />replacement parking lots.
