IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-090 (3134) <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOLS 2006-07, <br />PROJECT NO. 06-144-36-016 <br />Pursuant to a contract between the City and Columbia Electric dated July 21, 2008 by <br />Resolution No. 2008-087, Safe Routes to Schoo12006-07, Project No. 06-144-36-016, has been <br />completed. <br />Said work has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore <br />and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation Director, and he therefore <br />recommends that said work be accepted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the work hereinbefore described is hereby accepted. <br />2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a Notice of Completion on said <br />project. <br />That the bonds heretofore given for performance and payment of said conditions <br />are hereby discharged and exonerated from further liability. <br />4. That upon completion of the one-year Maintenance Period established pursuant to <br />said contract, and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation <br />Director, the City Manager is hereby authorized to release the bond heretofore <br />given for maintenance of the work hereinbefore described. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Souza and passed and adopted this 15t" day of June, 2009, <br />by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Mayor Santos (1) <br />ATTEST: ~~~ ~ ~' <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
