San Leandro Community Assistance Funding <br />GRANT APPLICATION <br />ORGANIZATION: ECHO Housing <br />PROGRAM TITLE: Landlord-Tenant Counseling & Dispute Resolution <br />2. Objectives -Program Outputs and Outcomes <br />Please submit no more than two Objectives. In many cases, only one Objective may be sufficient. See Page 14 for Example of <br />Completed Program Objectives Form. <br />Objective #1 <br />a. Program Premise (if..., then...): If tenants and/or landlords, with questions regarding rental laws, receive information, <br />referrals, antl counseling education on their rights and responsibilities, then the probability will increase that they will be <br />equipped to assert and protect those rights, and foster healthy communication to resolve problems. <br />b. Program Activities (Describe the services to be provided that will be in your agency's Scope of Work): ECHO'S staff <br />shall provide information and build community awareness on housing rights and responsibilities to both tenants and <br />landlords residing in all areas of San Leandro. Services shall include telephone counseling regarding housing rights and <br />responsibilities, development and distribution of flyers and brochures, and conducting housing clinics and community <br />presentations. <br />c. Program Outputs (The direct quantifiable products of program activities, such as the number of meals provided or <br />participants served. Program outputs should be measurable and realistic): <br />BY JUNE 30, 2009 (12 MONTHS): <br />210 households served by responding to 315 inquiries. <br />BY JUNE 30, 2010.(24 MONTHS): <br />410 households served by responding to 630 inquiries. <br />d. Program Outcomes (Program Outcomes =The benefit for program participants. Who benefits, what will change, by when, how <br />will you know.): <br />BY JUNE 30, 2009 (12 MONTHS): 75% or 158 of 210 tenants and/or landlords, who receive information, referrals, and <br />counseling education on their rights and responsibilities, will be equipped to assert and protect those rights, and foster <br />healthy communication to resolve problems. <br />BY JUNE 30.2010 (24 MONTHS): 75% or 316 of 410 tenants antl/or landlords, who receive information, referrals, and <br />counseling education on their rights and responsibilities, will be equipped to assert and protect those rights, and foster <br />healthy communication to resolve problems. <br />e. What data collection/methods will you use?
