Objectives -Program Outputs and Outcomes <br />Please submit no more than two Objectives. In many cases, only one Objective may be sufficient. See Page 14 for Example of <br />Completed Program Objectives Form <br />4bjectlve #1 <br />a. Program Premise (if..., then...): If fair housing laws are enforced, then the probability will increase that housing owned <br />by landlords who violate fair housing laws will be accessible to protected classes thereby preventing homelessness. <br />b. Program Activities (Describe the services to be provided that will be in your agency's Scope of Work): Develop and <br />disseminate public service announcements once a quarter; arrange for a radio or television appearance; recruit, screen, and <br />train checkers to investigate illegal housing practices and policies; conduct an investigation of all complaints of illegal <br />housing discrimination based on race, sex, HIV status, sexual orientation, ethnicity, marital status, mental or physical <br />disability, occupancy standards, religion or family composition, reported within 24 hours of receipt of complaint, whenever <br />feasible, using trained testers; provide conciliation services if illegal discrimination may have occurred and if the complainant <br />so desires, or prepare evidence obtained from investigations, and seek and deliver this information to cooperating attorney <br />or responsible agency when appropriate, if complainant so desires. <br />c. Program Outputs (The direct quantifiable products of program activities, such as the number of meals provided or <br />participants served. Who benefits, what will change, by when, how <br />will you know.): <br />BY JUNE 30, 2009 (12 MONTHS): 75% or 11 of 14 complainants, who have been denied housing or are in danger of losing <br />their housing because of illegal housing discrimination, will be afforded conciliation, or referrals to attorneys or governmental <br />agencies for enforcement to make the subject rentals accessible to protected classes. <br />BY JUNE 30, 2010 (24 MONTHS): ~5% or 22 of 28 complainants, who have been denied housing or are in danger of losing <br />their housing because of illegal housing discrimination, will be afforded conciliation, or referrals to attorneys or governmental <br />agencies for enforcement to make the subject rentals accessible to protected classes. <br />e.
