That has to be put together and cannot be done this way. Mr. Filipovich further commented on the issue of restricted parking on Lewelling Boulevard to allow for the installation of a bike lane. He indicated the staff report does not state exactly where it will commence. He voiced concerns over where the bike lane will be located; parking and stopping restrictions for buses; and said this proposal is a joke. He does not feel the bicycle lane is needed. He added that the Council should get the people's approval and input with regard to this entire proposal for bicycle lanes throughout the town. He would like to see more input from the whole spectrum of people of the City, not just homeowners' associations. G. Michael Smith, 504 Patton Avenue, addressed the Council regarding the increased noise coming from BART. He added that the train doesn't even make as much noise as BART. He concluded by stating that it sounds as i f i t i s going to fal 1 apart, and he woul d 1 i ke to know what can be done. Mayor Corbett suggested he contact staff, who can furnish him with a contact person at BART. 5. CONSENT CALENDAR Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered for approval by the City Council with one single action. The City Council may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title.
