Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council Meeting Page - 4 - November 17, 1997 The following Motion and Ordinance were then introduced: - Minute Order No. 97-50, Motion Certifying the Negative Declaration for PD-97-8 as complete and in compliance with CEQA requirements; Approving the Reclassification of A-97-10 to P (PD) Professional Planned Development Overlay District; and Approving the Planned Development, PD-97-8, subject to the Conditions of Approval. (1099/1009) The City Council certified the Negative Declaration for PD-97-8 as complete and in compliance with CEQA requirements; approved the Reclassification of A-97-10 to P (PD) Professional Planned Development Overlay District; and approved the Planned Development, PD-97-8, subject to the Conditions of Approval, with two added Conditions, as follows: (1) Any damage to the building exterior, including but not limited to the raised foam molding, shall be repaired promptly; and (2) The Applicant shall provide a rigid design for the application of the continual window sill on the exterior of the building to the satisfaction of the Development Services Director. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 - Ordinance No. 97-032, An Ordinance Reclassifying Certain Property Herein Described as to Zoning District and Amending Zoning Map (A-97- 10), 609 Callan Avenue. Carey Walker, 471 Santa Monica, addressed the Council, asking what is going to be done with East 14th Street and the two lanes which go into one in front of city hall. He also questioned if the Police has enough firepower in case they are confronted with a situation like Los Angeles and the bank robbery which took place and the Police Department was not sufficiently equipped. The Mayor responded that the Police Chief ensures that we are adequately protected.
