make the indicated corrections to the structure names into the map <br />attributes. <br />A-2.1.2 Line Segment Naming Consultant shall submit a list of line <br />segments to the City for naming (unnamed line segments will be <br />listed by the manhole or structure name at each end of the line) and <br />for clarification of flow direction where needed. Upon receiving the <br />City's line segment names and flow direction information, Consultant <br />shall input the data into the map attributes. <br />A-2.1.3 Migrate Map Attributes to ICOM3-DSS: Consultant shall migrate <br />structure, line segment and street name attributes and corresponding <br />data from the associated GIS map layers and import them into the <br />ICOM3-DSS database. <br />A-2.1.4 Add Existing GIS Layers to ICOM3-DSS: Consultant shall import <br />the following existing City GIS layers to the off-site ICOM3-DSS <br />database: Parcels, Addresses, City Limit, Roadedge, Freeways, <br />Railroad, Building Outlines, AeriaUOrtho Photos, Oro Loma Sanitary <br />District, San Leandro Sanitary District, Bay Creeks, and Critical <br />Facilities. City shall provide the data files of the subject GIS layers to <br />the Consultant. <br />A-2.2 Task 2 -Hansen Database Conversion <br />Consultant shall extract the physical attributes for the sewer lines and structures <br />contained in the City's existing Hansen database and any additional data records <br />within the database. These attributes and data records will then be entered and <br />linked to the corresponding line or structure in the ICOM3-DSS database. <br />A-2.3 Task 3 -Hydraulic System Analysis <br />Upon completion of the GIS map setup and configuration, and the database <br />populated with all the system physical data, Consultant shall perform a hydraulic <br />system analysis to verify that the map and database are in exact alignment. <br />Consultant shall then utilize aself-developed software tool that identifies any <br />lines that are disconnected or have incorrect flow directions assigned to them. <br />Any discrepancies identified will be submitted to the City for clarification and <br />corrected. <br />A-2.4 Task 4 -Maintenance and Repair Records Integration and Validation <br />Consultant shall add all relevant historical sewer maintenance and repair records <br />provided by City to the database and linked to their corresponding sewer line or <br />structure. The subsections below outline the estimated amounts and format of the <br />different types of existing maintenance and repair data. Following the successful <br />entering of the maintenance and repair data, Consultant shall verify the accuracy <br />of the data, database integrity and functional usage. <br />Sanitary Sewer Asset Management System 02/08/2005 <br />Account No. 593-52 X12 /Z Page 16 of 32 <br />
