City will be responsible for assembly <br />and reproduction of the final contract documents. <br />A-2.4 Task 4 -Bidding and Construction Assistance <br />Consultant shall assist the City during bidding and construction of the project. <br />Consultant shall attend the Pre-Bid Conference and be available to assist the City <br />in answering questions by potential bidders. <br />Upon the start of construction, Consultant shall be "on-call" to answer any <br />questions City or contractor may have. In addition, Consultant shall review <br />contractor submittals and provide technical feedback to City, and assist City in <br />preparing RFIs. <br />Consultant shall also assist City in the configuration of the controllers and ICONS <br />to enable processing of information from the new field devices and <br />communication with the new radio units. This shall include coordinating with <br />Econolite representatives regarding the modifications necessary for ICONS and <br />the ASC/2S controllers. <br />A-2.5 Task 5 -System Configuration <br />As an optional service to the City, Consultant shall configure the signal <br />controllers and the ICONS central system to enable processing of information <br />from the new field devices (e.g. detector systems) and communicate with the <br />installed wireless radio equipment. This shall include coordinating with Econolite <br />representatives regarding the modifications necessary for ICONS and the ASC/2S <br />controllers. This task shall commence during construction, and will include <br />coordination in the field with City staff as required. In the event that the City <br />does not require this service, Task 5 and its associated cost will be eliminated <br />from this Agreement by Change Order. <br />A-2.6 Meetings -Consultant shall attend a project kick-off meeting, up to five (5) <br />design meetings, the Pre Bid Conference, the Pre Construction Conference, and <br />up to four (4) construction meetings with City as discussed above. The intent of <br />the meetings is for the City and Consultant to discuss the scope of work, tasks, <br />milestones, recommendations and for the City to provide clear direction. <br />A-2.7 Monthly Progress Reporting -Consultant shall prepare monthly progress <br />reports. For each monthly report, Consultant shall prepare a brief Project Status <br />Report summarizing the work accomplished, the status of work in progress, <br />updates to the project schedule, delays, and any foreseeable problems with <br />meeting the schedule or budget.
