1.3 Public Meetings <br />Attend up to two (2) public meetings with city staff to present the project to the city council, the <br />public, or other stakeholders. <br />1.4 Utility Research and Coordination <br />Under this task, MTCo will develop a utility contact list and contact utility purveyors within the <br />project limits to obtain information regarding the location and size of existing underground and <br />overhead facilities. Information obtained will be transferred to the aerial mapping and submitted <br />to utility companies for their review and concurrence. Correspondence of meetings and <br />telephone conversations held with the utility companies will be copied to the City. <br />1.5 Caltrans Coordination and Permit Processing for Design <br />Obtain a Caltrans Encroachment Permit to perform field surveys and other project tasks. <br />Conduct an initial project review meeting with Caltrans Permits Section to review the project <br />and the encroachment permit requirements for approving the PS&E package. <br />Task 2 - Preliminary Plans, Specifications, and Estimate - 30% <br />Under this task, MTCo will research and collect pertinent project data and develop Project Plans and <br />Specifications (PS&E) to the 30% level. <br />2.1 Data Collection <br />Collect available data from City of San Leandro and Caltrans including, but not be limited to, <br />the following: <br />a) Existing Aerial Photos or Topographic Mapping for the project area <br />b) As-built drawings for city streets and the Caltrans improvements at the interchange on and <br />off ramp at Beatrice Street. <br />c) Existing utility information obtained from utility purveyors. <br />d) Previous studies and reports prepared for the project <br />e) Assessor's maps, available recorded right of way mapping, and one (1) title report for the <br />property to be acquired at Greenhouse Marketplace. <br />f) As-built plans for the signals at Washington at Beatrice, Washington at Fargo! Greenhouse, <br />and Washington and Springlake from the City of San Leandro <br />g) As-built plans for the fiber-optic interconnect conduit and cable along Washington Avenue <br />h) As-built plans for street lighting along Washington Avenue, Beatrice and Fargo, and as- <br />built street lighting plans from Caltrans for the Washington Avenue southbound ramps. <br />ACTIA 1 l: 1-880/Washington Avenue Interchange Improvements June 2005 <br />COSL Project No. 144-39-007 Page 16 of 35 <br />
