POTENTIALLY <br />ISSITES POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT LESS THAN NO <br /> SIGNIFICANT UNLESS SIGNIFICANT IMPACT SOURCES <br /> ISSUES MITIGATION IMPACT <br /> INCORPORATED <br />EXPLANATION: The East 14 Street Corridor is a State Highway located in an urbanized area. The vicinity, like most of the Bay <br />Area, is subject to seismic activities. In this location, in particular; there is susceptibility to violent groundshaking during major <br />seismic events, with "very low to moderate liquefaction risk," However, new building construction is required to meet current <br />Uniform Building Code standards including codes related to the appropriate level of seismic retrofitting to meet health and safety <br />standards. <br />Source: San Leandro General Plan - Cha ter 6 -Environmental Hazards <br />4. HI'DROLOGY AND WATER QUALITY. Would the ro'ect: <br />a. Violate any water quality standards or waste g <br />dischar ere uirements? <br />b. Substantially deplete groundwater supplies or <br />interfere substantially with groundwater <br />recharge such that there would be a net deficit <br />in aquifer volume or a lowering of the local R <br />groundwater table level (e.g., the production <br />rate ofpre-existing nearby wells would drop to <br />a level which would not support existing land <br />uses or planned uses for which permits have <br />been anted? <br />c. Substantially alter the existing drainage pattern <br />of the site or azea, including through the <br />alteration of the course of a stream or river, in X <br />a manner which would result in substantial <br />erosion or siltation on- or off-site? <br />d. Substantially alter the existing drainage pattern <br />of the site or area, including through the <br />alteration of the course of a stream or river, or R <br />substantially increase the rate or amount of <br />surface runoff in a manner which would result <br />in floodin on- or off-site? <br />e. Create or contribute runoff water which would <br />exceed the capacity of existing or planned <br />stormwater drainage systems or provide X <br />substantial additional sources of polluted <br />runoff? <br />f.
