Fire Protection: Fire protection and emergency medical services for the project site are provided by the Alameda Countv Fire <br />Department. Station No. I I, located at 2101 Marina Street, and Station No. 13, located at 637 Fargo Avenue, are the stations closest <br />to the project site. Each of these stations is equipped with one engine company. The Department responds to approximately 7,000 <br />calls per year within the City of San Leandro (ACFD, 2003). Calls for emergency medical services comprise approximately 70°io to <br />$0% of all calls for service. <br />a.ii.) Police Protection: The San Leandro Police Department provides police protection services to the City of San Leandro. The <br />proposed project would not require additional police protection services. <br />a. iii.) Schools: The proposed project would not impact schools. <br />a.iv.) Parks: See Section 13, Recreation. <br />a.v.} Other public facilities: In addition, the 187 daily one-way truck trips expected to result from the proposed project would not be <br />expected to result in substantive additional wear-and-tear to the roads along the proposed truck routes, due to the short-term nature <br />of the project operation. <br />12. UTILITIES A1VD SERVICE SYSTEMS. Would the rD'ect: <br />a. Exceed wastewater treatment requirements of X 8 <br />the applicable Regional Water Quality Control <br />Board'? <br />b.
