Create significant shadow effects on adjacent , <br />buildin rs7 <br /> <br />EXPLANATION: <br />a-c) The project site is located in a relatively isolated area and is surrounded by levees which partially obscure the project site from <br />adjacent properties. The proposed project would not alter the overall appearance of the site. Temporary visual impacts would occur <br />due to construction activities. However, much of that work would occur behind levees, partially obscured from view. <br />d) No new permanent sourees of light would be constructed. However, some lighting maybe utilized during the early evening <br />hours of construction. phis lighting would be the minimum necessary to ensure safe construction operations and to the extent <br />possible, would be deployed in a manner to minimize the view of the lights from suiTOUnding residential areas. <br />e) No new permanent structures would be constructed as part of the proposed project and therefore, there would be no significant <br />shadow effects on adjacent buildings. <br />15. CLIl.TURAL RESOURCES. Would the ro'ect: <br />X <br />1 <br />7 <br />a. Disturb any human remains, including those , <br />interred outside of formal cemeteries'? <br /> <br />EXPLANATION: <br />a-d) The project site is in an area where potentially significant cultural resources have not been identified, and are considered <br />unlikely to occur. Extensive grading and reworking of the site has already occurred. No unique ethnic or cultural values are known <br />to exist al the site and the site is not presently used for religious or sacred purposes. If human remains are found at any time during <br />excavation activities. all work will immediately stop within 100 feet of the find.
