The City will receive an AutoCAD copy of the drawing <br />files and one original set wet stamped and signed. <br />Final Specifications -Consultant shall prepare Final Technical <br />Specifications. The Specifications will be prepared in City's <br />standard format using MS Word, and in accordance with the <br />Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, (The <br />Green Book). <br />• Final Cost Estimate -Consultant shall prepare a final cost <br />estimate with an estimated cost of construction broken down into <br />standard bid items for all elements shown on the Final Plans. <br />Additional Services: <br />Other items of work not described above maybe added to the scope of work with an <br />approved work authorization and budget from the City. Examples of additional services <br />include, but are not limited to: <br />• Bidding -Provide assistance to the City during the bidding process <br />including preparation of addenda and responses to bidder's written <br />questions, and attendance at one pre-bid conference. Work on addenda <br />items related to design corrections in the plans and specifications will be <br />completed at no additional cost to the City. <br />• Engineering Services During Construction -Interpretation of contract <br />documents, preparation of change orders, review of extra work requests, <br />review of shop drawings and submittals, attendance at meetings to resolve <br />design or construction issues, and site visits to observe construction <br />operations. <br />A-3 SCHEDULE <br />All work under this AGREEMENT shall be completed on or before Aril 30, 2005. Work shall <br />commence immediately up on the issuance of an authorization letter by City. <br />The project schedule shall be as follows: <br />Topographic Survey 6 weeks <br />Preliminary Plans, Cost Estimates and Recommendations 2 weeks <br />City Review of Preliminary Information 2 weeks <br />70% Design Submittal 3 weeks <br />City Review of 70% Design 2 weeks <br />100% Design Submittal 3 weeks <br />City Review of 100°/a Design 1 week <br />Sanitary Sewer Pipeline Replacements 04-OS October 19, 2004 <br />OS-593-52-211 Page 18 of 22 <br />
