TOTAL ESTIMATED NUMBER OF SHEETS: 24 Sheets <br />Task 3.3 -Final Submittal <br />Incorporate final revisions from 100%, <br />This submittal shall be effectively a complete PS&E set and shall include the following list: <br />DELIVERABLES: <br />One hard copy of plans, specifications and cost estimate <br />Drawing on vellum, signed and stamped <br />One electronic copy of final documents for City's use in bidding <br />TASK 4 -Optional Services <br />Provisions are hereby made for the City to direct Consultant to perform optional services <br />deemed necessary or desirable by the City. Optional work may include changes in concept <br />or resolving unexpected issues not known at the time this scope was finalized. Optional <br />services shall nat be performed without specific, advanced written authorization by the City. <br />Both the scope and fee for optional services shall be agreed to by both the City and <br />Consultant, prior to initiation of any work task. The tasks and estimated cost listed below are <br />intended to tie examples of the type of services that may be required and should not be <br />considered as inclusive. <br />Hazardous Material Investigation <br />If contaminated soil is encountered in the areas where excavation shall occur, it may be <br />necessary to gather optional soil samples to determine the extent of the limits and quantify <br />the amount of material requiring special handling. All contaminated soil samples shall be <br />disposed of legally at an appropriate landfill. Disposal of contaminated material that cannot <br />be hauled to a Class III landfill shall require a higher cost for handling, transport and <br />disposal. <br />Potholing of Existing Utilities <br />Consultant shall coordinate and hire a utility location contractor to locate utilities as required <br />to confirm design. <br />Utility Relocation <br />Consultant will perform utility relocation plan and detail when requested by the utility owner <br />and authorized by the City. <br />Bay Trail Slough Bridge July 19, 2004 <br />Project No. 144-39-012 Page 20 of 26 <br />
