The City understands its role as one of <br />the critical funding sources for all these programs and projects. Without local input, it is <br />often difficult to complete programs or housing projects. By leveraging the City <br />contribution, developers and program providers bring more services and additional <br />housing to San Leandro. <br />MATCHING PLAN <br />Matching requirements of the HOME Program must be satisfied with non-federal <br />dollars. The City will utilize redevelopment housing set aside to meet the match <br />required when using HOME funds for a housing project development. <br />PUBLICLY OWNED LAND <br />There is no City or Redevelopment Agency owned land that will be utilized in the <br />housing or community development activities, discussed in this Plan. During the <br />program year, the City or the agency may consider purchasing land, which would be <br />"banked" for a housing project in the near future. <br />Action Plan FY2003 <br />City of San Leandro <br />Page 7 <br />
