2.5 Design Development <br />This phase of work builds on the approved design from the preceding phase and begins to <br />develop more detail including structural, mechanical and electrical systems. This phase <br />will include up to three in-progress meetings with the Building Committee as more <br />detailed information is developed and issues or questions arise. This phase will result in <br />the following drawings and work products: <br />• Overall Site Plan <br />• Preliminary Grading Plan (Building Entry area) <br />• Swimming Pool, Waterslide and Mechanical Room Layout Plans <br />• Building Addition Floor Plans <br />• Building Elevations and Sections <br />• Preliminary Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Drawings <br />• Outline Specifications <br />• Updated Project Schedule and Cost Estimate <br />2.6 Construction Documents <br />Based on approved Design Development documents, detailed drawings and specifications <br />will be developed that are suitable for construction. This phase will include up to two <br />additional in-progress meetings with City staff. Following preparation of these <br />documents and final cost estimate, a presentation will be made to the City for approval <br />and authorization to proceed with construction. This phase will result in complete <br />Construction Documents for all on-site development that is a part of this project, <br />including: <br />• Architectural Drawings <br />• Swimming Pool Drawings <br />+ Civil Engineering Drawings <br />• Structural Drawings <br />• Electrical Drawings <br />• Mechanical Drawings <br />• Landscape Drawings <br />• Technical Specifications <br />• Structural and Energy Calculations <br />• Submittal to Building Department <br />• Final Cost Estimate <br />• Plan Check Correction(s) (as required for permit issuance) <br />• Attendance at One (i) Public Meeting <br />• During the Bidding phase, contractor to provide assistance clarifying questions <br />and assisting in the preparation of addenda as required. Addendum required to <br />correct design omissions or deficiencies will be prepared at no additional cost. <br />Plans shall show construction staging, ADA route of travel, parking re-striping, cutlfill <br />calculations, as applicable to project. <br />The above deliverables shall be submitted for City review at the 60°~o and 90°Io design <br />stage for review and comment. <br />CSA Class Architects Page 5 of l8 <br />Boys & Girls Club Poo] Project No. 150-69-202 <br />
