Task 3.5 - 30% Project Plans Contractor shall prepare 30% design development plan sheets using City's current standard details and format. Project plan sheets shall be prepared in accordance with the City's drafting standards and will be supplemented with design required standard symbols and abbreviations. Plans shall be in English units or in such units required by Caltrans and in AutoCAD 2002 electronic format. Contractor shall provide the following project plans for the Project: • Title Sheet Layout /Geometric Alignment Sheets • Preliminary Profile Sheets or Grid Grade Sheets Preliminary Drainage Plans Task 3.6 - 30% Specifications Contractor shall prepare an outline of the Project specifications in concurrence with the Project design plans. Task 3.7 - 30% Cost Estimate Contractor shall identify major construction components of the 30% design plans. Contractor shall prepare a preliminary construction cost estimate based on the identified construction components. Task 3.8 - 30% PS&E Submittal Contractor shall assemble the plans, specifications outline and estimate for City review. Contractor shall provide City with six sets of the 30% PS&E submittal for review. Task 3 Deliverables • Updated Aerial Base Sheets with Surveyed Data • 30% Design Plans -specific plan listing is found under Task 3.5 • 30% Specifications Outline • Cost Estimate • Drainage Analysis Task 4: 70% PS&E Submittal Contractor shall prepare 70% Plans, Specifications and Estimate for the Project. Task 4.1 - 30% Comment Review Contractor shall review 30% design comments. Contractor shall meet with the City to discuss, clarify and obtain resolution of the 30% design comments. Task X4.2 -Utility Coordination Contractor shall collect and review existing utility mapping for the Project Area from the City, utilities, and all other resources of such information. Verification of utility mapping by potholing or other field survey is not included in this scope of services. Contractor shall plot existing utilities within the Project limits on base maps. Contractor shall send base maps showing the location of existing utilities to City and other utility owners as necessary for review and confirmation.
