• Construction Cost Estimate using proposed bid items <br />Schedule: <br />100% Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimate <br />Task 5 Final Plans, Specifications and Estimates <br />2 weeks from receipt of City's <br />70% review comments <br />The Contractor will prepare and submit for bidding the Final PS&E (Bid Set) based on the <br />review comments from the 100% submittal. The Final PS&E submittal is focused on <br />constructability, final construction details and final plans format. Contractor will distribute and <br />coordinate the plans with other public agencies for review and permits application. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Final PS&E, in biddable format. One (1) set of full-sized reproducible drawing set of <br />plans will be submitted to the City. <br />• Final Contract Book including City standard contract documents ("Boilerplate") and <br />Specifications, which will be prepared using the Greenbook standard, Caltrans Standard <br />Specifications, Sections 84, 85 and 86 <br />• Final Construction Cost Estimate <br />• After the bids are opened and the construction contract awarded, electronic files in <br />AutoCAD format of the bid set will be submitted to the City. <br />Schedule: <br />Final Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimate 1 week from receipt of City's <br />100% review comments. <br />TASK 6 SERVICES DURING BIDDING AND CONSTRUCTION <br />Task 6.1 Services During Bidding <br />The Contractor will assist during the bidding phase of the project by responding to technical <br />questions from the bidders concerning the Contractor's design. Contractor shall attend the pre- <br />bid meeting, answer questions during the bid period, and prepare addenda as required. Addenda <br />issued to correct design deficiencies or errors in the plans will be prepared at no cost to the City. <br />Assumptions: <br />• Bidders will submit their questions first to the City. The City will review the PS&E set to <br />determine if the bidders' questions can be answered before submitting the question to the <br />Contractor. <br />• Questions from bidders will be given to the Contractor by the City.
