Report on Results of Revenue Measure Feasibility Survey.
Mr. Hollister introduced Bryan Godbe of Godbe and Associates, and Bonnie Jean von
Krogh of the Lew Edwards Group. Mr. Godbe presented the results of a recent public
opinion poll of 600 registered San Leandro voters. The telephone survey was broken
into two sample types: Sample A surveyed likely November 2010 voters on sales tax
questions, with a subsample of June 2010 voters; Sample B surveyed voters who were
also homeowners on a landscape and lighting assessment. The survey data indicate that
both a sales tax increase and a landscape and lighting assessment district would be
viable revenue measures.
