MINUTES Page 6 <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting~ctober 5, 2009 <br />Councilmember Gregory commented on the public's faith in local government, and the <br />importance placed on public safety. He pointed out that the revenue raised in San <br />Leandro would be spent in San Leandro. <br />Councilmember Prola remarked that the Godbe research confirnis other research <br />fmdings which indicate that residents have more faith in their local government than in <br />the state government. <br />Mr. Hollister stated that the Council is not being asked to make a decision on the two <br />measures tonight; however, he requested direction from the Council to bring more <br />information on the measures back to the Council at a future meeting. <br />Vice Mayor Starosciak asked whether the presentation could be posted on the City's <br />website. Mr. Hollister stated that he would work with Mr. Godbe to make the <br />information available online. It was the consensus of the Council to continue the <br />discussion of this matter to a future meeting. <br />B. Resolution Approving Amendment No. 2 to Contractual Services Agreement Between <br />the City of San Leandro and PBS&J Related to Preparing the Environmental Impact <br />Report (EIR) for the Kaiser Medical Center Project in San Leandro in an Amount Not to <br />Exceed $1,111,322 (Additional Amount of $374,315 Added to Original Amount of <br />$737,007; Cost to Be Reimbursed in Its Entirety by Kaiser Foundation Hospitals) <br />(amends the term of the agreement and compensation based on the modified scope of <br />services). <br />Mr. Hollister reported on the amendment to the PBS&J agreement, necessitated by <br />changes to the Kaiser project.
