The Downtown <br />San Leandro location would be the <br />second locale for the award-winning, <br />world-famous pizzeria. The original, <br />located in Castro Valley, was opened <br />by brothers Frank-a San Leandro <br />local -and Tony Gemignani - dough- <br />tossing acrobat and winner of the <br />City of Naples Trophy, International <br />Championship of Pizza Makers, a <br />competition for the world's best pizza <br />tosser. <br />With its casual, family-friendly <br />atmosphere, positive reputation, and <br />delicious food, Pyzano's would be a <br />tremendous addition to Downtown <br />San Leandro. <br />Yogofina to Bring New Culture Downtown <br />Yogofina frozen yogurt <br />has signed a lease and will <br />occupy 1,128 square feet at <br />151 West Joaquin Avenue. <br />Slated to open in the spring <br />or summer of 2010, Yogofina <br />will make a great addition <br />to Downtown San Leandro. <br />The frozen yogurt shop is <br />described as a place where <br />"families can come together, <br />have fun, and enjoy desert." <br />It is a self-serve, do-it- <br />yourself place that allows <br />its visitors to create frozen <br />treats, completely tailored to <br />each individual's creativity <br />and taste; possibilities <br />are endless. Including its <br />original shop in Alameda, this <br />family owned and operated <br />dessert shop has five existing <br />locations and five more <br />opening soon throughout <br />the bay area.
